From Japanese ramen to healthy Buddha bowls, Asian flavours can give everyday cuisine a delicious twist. Our NPD team are constantly watching food trends and discovered a taste of the Far East much closer to home.
We spotted spicy Korean takes on classic mayo and gourmet coleslaw, sitting side by side with chicken pops and tempting BBQ burgers.
Sweet sticky teriyaki brought Japanese flavour to sauces, noodles and bao buns, whilst warm and comforting katsu curry sauce spiced up chicken in all the right ways.
For a taste of China we didn’t need to look far, with classic hoisin chicken and crowd pleasing sweet chilli proving that Asian flavours are here to stay – and we’re loving it!
And guess what? Our eggs are the perfect partner for these bold exciting flavours.
A Japanese-inspired ramen dish is a comforting noodle broth with a delicious umami flavour. Just add one of our tasty eggs on top and you’ve got the ultimate midweek meal.
