British Lion Egg Accreditation
Fresh-Pak Chilled Foods Ltd is proud to be accredited, as an egg processor, to sell British Lion Eggs. Over 90% of UK eggs are now produced under the British Lion scheme and more than 130 billion British Lion eggs have been sold since its launch in 1998. The code covers the entire production chain and ensures strict food safety controls including the guarantee that all hens are vaccinated against Salmonella and a ‘passport’ system ensuring that all hens, eggs and feed are fully traceable.
Fresh-Pak’s UK egg products are now approved to carry the British Lion mark and we believe this will help re enforce the tremendous technical work we carry out at Fresh-Pak, to ensure we provide great quality, safe food to our customers.
